🐾 HELP US FUND 35 COMMUNITY CATS THIS WEDNESDAY! 🐾

This Wednesday, September 2nd, we have a FULLY BOOKED, all-community-cat spay/neuter day — 35 cats! 🎉🐱

Thanks to funding from Long Beach Animal Care Services (LBACS), $100 per cat is covered. We fund the remainder — up to an additional $95 per cat depending on whether the cat is male or female and if additional medical care is needed.

That means we may need to raise up to $3,325 to cover Wednesday’s clinic! ❤️

We provide these spay/neuter surgeries completely FREE to the public, including necessary treatments a community cat may need while in our care:

🐾 Spay & neuter surgery
💉 Antibiotic injections
💧 Fluids & supportive care
🤰 Pregnancy-related care
🩹 Laceration & wound treatment
🤧 Upper respiratory infection treatment
❤️ And other medical needs discovered during their visit

We never want cost to be the reason a community cat goes without the care they need.

35 cats fixed in one day means fewer kittens born outdoors, healthier community cats, and a BIG impact for Long Beach. 🐱💕

We are so grateful to each and everyone of you who supported us by making a donation to our fundraising to purchase an autoclave.
On Wednesday, our autoclave quit working and we had to cancel all of our surgeries yesterday. Through your donations we raised $3,420 so far. We were able to find a used autoclave for $4900 which we purchased yesterday and were able to continue with our surgeries today.
Without all of your help, we would not have been able to do this and we are extremely grateful

🆘 URGENT: Our surgeries may have to stop. 🆘

Every week, cats arrive at our clinic depending on us—community cats who have spent their lives outdoors, owned cats whose families cannot afford traditional veterinary prices, and rescue cats waiting for the surgery that will give them a second chance.

Now, the piece of equipment at the heart of every surgery we perform has failed.

Our autoclave sterilizes the surgical instruments that make every spay and neuter procedure possible. Without a dependable autoclave, we cannot safely operate—and without surgeries, cats will lose access to the care they desperately need.

A replacement will cost $5,500, an unexpected expense our nonprofit clinic simply was not prepared to absorb. We are already stretching every dollar to provide affordable and free services while facing the rising costs of medications, supplies and staffing.

We hate asking for help, but right now, we truly need our community.

Kitten season is in full swing, and our Little Lions are coming in fast. 🐾

This sweet mama and her FIVE kittens are just one example of the families who need a safe, warm place to land. In the reel, you can see them all cozied up together in a carrier with a blanket. 🥹

We are urgently running low on cat carriers and blankets. Two simple supplies that make a HUGE difference when we are rescuing, transporting, and caring for cats and kittens.

🧺 Blankets — clean and washable blankets

Every carrier gives a cat a safe way to travel. Every blanket gives a scared or vulnerable animal warmth and comfort. And when kitten season is this busy, we go through them FAST!
