Stronger Futures. Stronger Long Beach. 💰✨

Financial stability is the foundation of a thriving community. Through our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, LBCAP helps local families keep more of their hard-earned money and build a secure financial path forward.

In 2025 alone, our VITA team provided free tax preparation services to 1,266 households, bringing $2.1 million directly back into local homes. Those refunds help families pay bills, save for emergencies, and invest in their futures.

When we empower families financially, our entire city prospers. This Long Beach Gives, help us keep vital programs like VITA free and accessible for our community!

Stronger Families, Stronger Long Beach. 💙👶

Diapers cost the average family $80 to $100 per month per child, consuming up to 14% of total income for low-income households. That’s why our Community Advocacy and Family Services (CAFS) team works to relieve that burden. We have provided over 300 children with free diapers, training pants, and wipes throughout Long Beach, and we’re just getting started!

Real community strength is built when we show up for each other across generations. Seeing local youth and senior volunteers pack diapers side-by-side proves that when we unite, we can lighten the weight on local families.

Giving is just another way our community comes together.

Early Giving for Long Beach Gives 2026 is officially open! When you give today, you join our volunteers on the front lines to ensure families in need have access to essential supplies and vital resources to thrive.
