Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Long Beach program was established in May Everything is provided to the participants at no cost.

Project Healing Waters Fly-Fishing (PHWFF) is open to wounded military service members and veterans. PHWFF provides therapeutic outdoor recreation for the disabled, utilizing the sport of fly fishing as a rehabilitation tool. We have regularly scheduled weekly classes during which we teach Fly Fishing 101 classes, casting instruction, fly-tying classes, rod building classes, additionally we go on

both one day and overnight fishing outings. Donations of equipment or cash are tax-deductible. All donations are appreciated! Our weekly classes are on Monday mornings from 9-11am. We currently meet at the American Legion Club House located at 5938 Parkcrest Street, Long Beach, CA 90908.
