ur little neighborhood of Carson Park area is like many East Long Beach neighborhoods, built after World War II, with nice homes consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and 3 bedrooms with 1 bath. The original homes had lots starting at 5000 square feet with homes from 850 – 1250 square feet. The original homes had metal kitchen cabinets, hardwood floors, two car garages and ash fault driveways. Today, our neighborhood is in a beautiful transition. First-time home-buyers, many of them, young families, are snapping up houses from original owners and transforming them inside and out to reflect updated interiors with open floor plans and updated exteriors with drought-tolerant landscapes. Carson Park has many amenities including a mile and a half long park, a golf course, several playgrounds, churches, award-winning schools, baseball and soccer fields, shopping, bars and restaurants - all within a short walk or bike ride.
