We are piloting a new program: Community Resource Navigation Virtual Drop-in hours (most) Saturday afternoons from 1-4pm. Designed for people living in or around Long Beach looking for basic community resources and navigation.

During this academic semester, peer-to-peer academic navigation support will also be available for young adults and college students seeking campus and academic resource navigation. Until the end of April! Tap in! Launch a Non-Profit or a Group with a Cause

Clarify mission and community impact goals.

Understand the differences between formal nonprofits, fiscal sponsorship, and informal collectives.

Identify the legal and structural steps for nonprofit formation (with emphasis on 501(c)(3), but also overview of 501).

Develop a basic action plan for launching their project.

Explore funding, partnerships, and sustainability overview.

Networking and the importance of collaboration.

Stay after and assemble hygiene bags.
