As you drive around Long Beach, keep an eye out for the new 2025 Long Beach Veterans Banner Program displays, installed by the Long Beach Department of Health & Human Services (LBDHHS) City of Long Beach Office of Veterans Support & Veterans Commission.

We are inviting all Long Beach Veterans and their families to the 4th Annual Free Health Services Event: Saturday, August 30, 2025 at New Hope Home, 1150 E. New York St. Long Beach, CA 90813. Free health services are available all day.

For our veterans, stop by between Noon and 2:00 PM for a special table with goodie bags and lunch, while supplies last.

We also ask the community to watch KCAL News on Tuesday, September 2nd at 10 a.m. and noon. It will feature a story on the Long Beach Veterans Banner program!

Join us for the 4th Annual Free Community Health Service Event on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach! This one-day event is completely FREE and open to the public — no insurance required.

We’re bringing together trusted healthcare partners and community organizations to provide essential health screenings and services to underserved residents in and around Long Beach.

Services Offered:
Mobile Mammography (Women ages 40+)
Dental Care: Exams, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
Vision Services: Eye exams and free eyeglasses
STD Testing
Blood Pressure Screenings
Voter Registration
Community Resources and More!

🧾 No insurance needed – just bring a valid photo ID matching your name.
⏳ First come, first serve – registration will close once patient capacity is reached.
🥤 Please bring water and snacks, as wait times may vary depending on the service.

Last Year’s Impact:
