We kicked off our 2nd annual Multisport Merit Badge today. Scouts got the basics of classroom knowledge and the course layout today. In 4 weeks, they'll return to swim, bike, and ride in a timed competition.

Call it the Sea Base Triathlon if you will. It's an exciting adventure and physical challenge for these Scouts!

Popcorn is here! Beginning this weekend, Scouts will be selling popcorn to support their year-round adventures.

If you happen to see Scouts at storefronts, please support them!

And if you're looking for some popcorn, ask your nearest Scout, or give our office a call and ask for Kevin!

Next time you drive down the 405 fwy, look North! We have a new 30-foot-long banner hanging on a building, between Cherry and Lakewood Blvd.

A big shoutout to VP of Program Bob Colley for making all the arrangements to hang the banner.

Not to be outdone, our office parking lot has a new welcome banner, also installed by Bob's crew.

Things are looking up! Let's bring more families into the adventures of Scouting!

Lions at the Park! School is back and that means dens are starting to meet again.

This past Saturday, a sold out room celebrated the 60th Anniversary of the Long Beach Sea Base!

Pack 247 and Troop 247 are off to a great start! They held their back to school night yesterday at St. Pancratius.

There were approx. 10 new youth interested in joining! The Scouts in Troop 247 were particularly motivated by our new HEADHUNTER recruiter patch. Keep it up!
