Are you up for the challenge? Celebrate the 10th Annual by joining us at Willow Springs Park (2745 Orange Ave) on April 26th from 9am to 12pm. Here, you can participate in an international effort to document nature in cities from April 25 through 28! Learn how your observations during the four-day global bioblitz help us further understand biodiversity and coexisting with nature. Participation is easy: Find wildlife. Take a picture. Share.

✨ We're bringing the goods to this event! That nutrient rich soil amendment called C O M P O S T.

🦋 On Saturday, March 14th, join us at Willow Springs Park from 9am - 12pm for Monarch Day of Action! Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about native pollinators like the Monarch Butterflies, plant Narrowleaf Milkweed, interact with local organizations, and participate in eco-crafts.

Parking lot space is very limited. We would like to prioritize parking spots for those who are only dropping off scraps, those with limited mobility, and Farm Stand customers.
Street parking is available on E. 27th St. on the other side of California Ave.
Willow Springs Park parking lot is available off Orange Ave. Walk the trail that runs along the cemetery to get to the event.

Wow! We did so many things! Special thanks to all our beautiful volunteers and supporters. Without your help, we wouldn't exist. Thank you for letting us share space with you at Willow Springs Park and helping set-up our booth every Friday. Much love! Here's to another year of building soil and community with you all.

2025 Things:
- Collected over 30 tons of food scraps.
- Over 9.5 tons of compost distributed.
- Created over 15 tons of finished compost.
- We helped the City of Long Beach distribute 886 no-cost kitchen pails to residents.
- We participated in 11 city-wide events.
- We had 105 collection days.
- We hosted 3 field trips for Girl Scouts, Radical Monarchs, and CRAs (Compost and Recycling Ambassadors).
- We hosted 4 special events. MLK Day of Service in collaboration with , Garden-to-Table reception with , Plant Sharing event with and our Fall Into Fun at the Piles event.
