What a truly amazing day yesterday was at Newport Harbor Elks Lodge #1767.......a big thank you to Michelle Hodgson Bleeker (Elks Veterans Committee Chair) and her team for hosting Long Beach Chapter's guitar donation drive........through the kindness and generosity of the Elks and many good hearted people in the community, we received 37 donated guitars (9 of those that the Elks Newport Harbor contributed).....and absolutely, we will be putting them to good use in the hands of all the veterans that enroll in our program 😎🎸🇺🇸🙌🏽👍🏽🙏🏽❤️........and for a Chapter as large as ours with a huge waiting list, this definitely helps us sustain our mission in serving our veterans in the SoCal area 😎👍🏽🇺🇸.........and overall, what a next level event as we kicked it off with the lovely and talented Alissa Villa singing the National Anthem (amazing job and beautifully sung 🎤🥰🙌🏽🇺🇸), performances by our G4V LB students (they were awesome😎🎸🇺🇸🙌🏽🥰❤️🤍💙), performance by Dustin Case (local musician and Navy veteran) and my band, Code 4, closing out festivities 😎🎸🎤🥁🤘🏽🙌🏽.....again, one thousand thanks and more to the Elks and to all our G4V students and my G4V LB instructors (you all our the backbone of our G4V LB Chapter.....Thank you for all your time, dedication, devotion, and love you give to our veterans in guiding them through their musical journey......so proud and honored to have all of you on our LB team )! 😎🎸🙏🏽❤️🤍💙🥰........and thank you to my bandmates in Code 4 for dedicating your time and talent to this cause and entertaining the troops .....as children of veterans (yes, my bandmates all had parents that served 😎🙏🏽🇺🇸🥰), I'm so glad you guys also recognize how important the healing power of music is to our veterans who need it the most! 😎🎸🎤🥁🤘🏽🙏🏽🥰❤️
