Well, this is it. And it has been everything. We couldn’t be happier or more proud of this amazing cast and crew, for her vision & for making it all happen night after night, after night.

And to each and every one of you, who came to see the show, and contributed to the magic. If you were still hoping to catch it, a handful of tickets still remain for tonight. You know what to do.

But before we go, there is still one more actor who we want to shine some light on, and bring to life. The one who embodies the play’s proverbial name sake, Joshua Sandoval (Pablo Fu***ng Escobar).

Joshua made his debut at the Garage back in 2022, where he played the King in their puppet production of Love’s Labour’s Lost. He’s done a lot
of cool stuff in that time, but he’s thrilled to be back at the Garage performing for you!

And we are thrilled to have him back. Hope you can make it tonight, if you were hoping to make it tonight, friends. See you there, or see you soon!

Happy Friday, friends! This is not just any ordinary Friday. It is a really good Friday, in fact! It’s also our final freaky Friday of our production of Our Dear Dead Drug Lord! One show tonight and one show tomorrow, and then…it’s gone. And gone for good.

Speaking of good, allow us to introduce to you the incredible and really, really good Ryan Hollon (Zoom).

Ryan Hollon (she/her) is a graduate of UCSB’s BFA acting program. She’s stoked to be making her Garage debut with the best cast and crew. Credits include Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Touchstone in As You Like It, and Masha in Three Sisters. She wishes everyone a very pleasant zoomies.

Only a handful of tickets remain for our final two shows. Grab ‘em while you can, y’all, before it’s too late. See you there!

Remain calm. Do not panic. Closing weekend is upon us, y’all. Only three shows remain. Three chances to join us and the dead leader’s club in the treehouse, before it’s gone for good. Just like 2008. But the show will live on in the hearts of those that were there, and those who helped to tell the tale.

And another one of the incredible actors who has brought their whole heart into telling this tale for you night after night is new to our stage, but won’t be soon forgotten, Alejandra Peñaloza (Kit).

Alejandra is beyond excited to be making her Garage Theatre debut with their 2026 opener, Our Dear Dead Druglord! She is currently studying for her bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. Her most recent productions include Almost, Maine, Assassins, and The Lower Depths.

You know what to do. Only a handful of tickets remain. Grab ‘em before they’re just more memories in the mist. Thru our website, or our bio. See you there.

Y’all. This is it. The closing week of our first show of 2026 is already upon us. Time flies when you are having fun, and audiences and actors alike, are having an absolute blast, bringing this story to life for you, with you.

We also wanted to continue to share with you, more of our incredible cast. This is her first play, but when you see and feel the chemistry created between her and the rest of the cast, you’d think they’ve known each other forever. Please allow us to introduce to you…

Jenilee Flowers (Squeeze)
Jenilee is thrilled to be joining the Garage Theater as Squeeze. Though not new to a stage, this is her first play and she’s ecstatic and grateful to
be part of the cast.

Only THREE SHOWS left, y’all! Shows have been selling out, so don’t sleep, make some magic and make some moves to get yourself to the theatre this weekend, before it’s too late.
