Last weekend was magic, y’all!✨🦢💙Our story of the swan took off, and landed right in your hearts and minds and conversations. We love to hear all the theories and ideas that are wrapped around what love is, and what it all means! Thanks for sharing them, having them, and most of all, for being there!

We’re back on stage tomorrow night for y’all, with all of y’all! Join us! We’ll be there Friday and Saturday nights, too! Thursday nights are still our Twofer Sutherland Thursdays, where you can get two tickets for the price of one! (Must buy two, to receive the twofer spesh!)

This one must be seen to be believed, and experienced to be understood. Get off your couch and come sit in our seats, y’all! You’ll be so glad you did! Tickets available on our website and in our bio!

Here we gooooooo! Tonight’s opening night, the night our Swan takes flight! Mysterious, mythical, and magical, what a dream this has all been! And now the dream is coming true! Thanks to you, and to all the many people, friends and families who bring it all together, and support what we do down there, for you, with you. It is felt, and it feels soooooo good!✨🦢🤍

🎶it’s the most wonderful time, of the year…🎶

…tech week is upon us, friends! And The Swan is nearly ready to take flight!✨🦢

what goes on behind those windows will be a wonder to behold. you won’t believe the world that we’ve been cooking up for you down there, at your favorite little black box theatre.

A little bit of magic and a little bit of mystery and a whole lotta love is going into this, and that’s what it’s all about! This one pulls those heartstrings in all the right places, and we remember what love means and it is, at all!

Loosely based on the myth of Leda & The Swan, the struggle is real and fully felt. At times hilarious and at times heart-wrenching, just like real life!

We’d love for you to check it out! We open on Friday, and run through September 26th. But don’t delay. Pick a day and grab those tix, so you can be sure to experience the magic for yourself! See you there!🤍

Friends, in just two weeks from tonight, The Swan takes flight. On Friday, the 21st of August, we open our production, and we simply can’t wait for The Swan to crash into your hearts and minds.

We can’t share too much yet, but the pieces are all coming together, and the stage is steadily being set, with an incredible set design, and some powerhouse performances, too.

This is a story of the magic of true love, that feeling of being seen for who we are, and who we truly dream we could be. The story speaks to our animal instincts and desires, as well as honoring the struggle in what it means to be human. We love what’s happening down there, right now, and we know that you will, too.

Friends, fauna, family… are you ready?!? For it is nearly time for The Swan.

In just three short weeks, we will unleash unto you, a story so bold and beautiful, that we may be able to remember what it feels like to fall in love all over again.

In the great wide open fields of Nebraska, and in the hearts of our souls, we find ourselves in the story. Caught between the earthly and the divine, what makes sense in our heads vs. what feels right in our hearts, we have a telling of a tale, that must be seen to be believed, and experienced to be understood.

This one brings that wonderfully wild weirdness that you’ve come to expect from our productions for the past 26 years. And yet, it’s like nothing we’ve ever done, or nothing you’ve ever seen. We can’t wait to share it with you.

We open Friday August 21st.

Spotlight✨🔦Cast Party Time🥳

Here she is, friends, the literal heart and soul of our story. She is the reason for the season of the Elves! It’s her first time on any stage, let alone our stage, but hopefully it is not the last. We are so lucky and grateful that she took a chance, and took a big swing on this, with us. Just a gem of a human, through and through. It gives us great joy to introduce to you, Reace Thresher!

Reace is a wannabe theatre kid finally making a stage
debut with The Garage as Kirsten. Years of loving
theatre and performing arts has prepared her for this
moment and she can’t wait for you to see it!

Only three more shows, and one more chance. THURSDAY AND FRIDAY are now both sold out. And only a few tickets remain for our closing night on Saturday. Do what you gotta do, friends. Now this man right here, has brought so much magic, movement, and mystery to his role that the entire play revolves around his mischief-making. His commitment to the character is classic, and it’s his first time on our stage. Here he is, the elf himself, Mikie Coghlan!

Michael is (Elf)cited to be in his first production at
The Garage Theatre and get back on Stage. Trained
at The Gaiety School of Acting Dublin. After a
successful UK & Ireland tour in Mrs. Browns Boys, Michael moved across the pond for the American Dream. Ekkkk.

This guy right here is a shapeshifter. All of his characters are wildly different and wildly fun in this one! Speaking of fun, here’s a fun fact for ya…he’s also playing the title character, in our very next production, The Swan, opening in August!

In the meantime, allow us to introduce Nick Napoli!! Nick is a long time fan first time performer at The
Garage Theatre. He’s very excited to become part of
the garage ensemble and openly mock n***s for
your enjoyment. Some of his favorite previous roles
include Hamlet Long Beach Shakespeare Co.,
Sodapop The Outsiders NTEA, and Peter in Peter &
The Starcatcher Theatre Horizon.
