Miss Jo's Rescue Ranch A pony sanctuary and rescue! We share our home with a few others..like the 3 pigs and the lama, Kuska! We are an approved 501-C-3 non -profit

We work hard to help our barn kids find good families,spread awareness about neglect and abuse, and do good! I have worked in rescue for other organizatons in North Texas. After helping to grow their equine and livestock program, I decided to open my very own sanctuary and rescue for ponies and any equine or livestock that needed a place to find their value, to find people who knew their value. that like me, just needed to remember, just because your past wasn't perfect, your future is not written yet. Everyone who visits our ranch always expresses the peacefulness of the animals and how much they enjoy just being here. While there are several places to adopt horses, I wanted to create an atmosphere of love for those who would have a hard time getting adopted. Those special ones who need special care. Also , I dreamed of having a program that allows people to connect and heal from their past so they can have a happier tomorrow. To be able to be connected to a particular horse, pony or donkey and know the pleasure of having a positive impact on that animals life.To educate the public on the over-breeding, and impact surplus horses have on the horse population, subjecting them to slaughter, neglect and abuse. So, with the support of my family and friends, and hopefully sponsors, we are building a unique interactive live feed for our sanctuary residents that will allow sponsors to see them live, everyday. We are very excited for our programs coming up in 2018 and hope they provide families, adults and children alike an exciting, and rewarding experience with these animals from where ever they live.

Here are the deets
Snickers is a gelding but was gelded last year. He is utd on vaccines, worming and farrier. He healthy and has had training.
Snickers LOVES humans!! He needs an experienced rider. He needs to have an alpha pasture mate that he respects. ( he can be sassy to the lower pecking order)
He’s in the 8 to 10 range
He is a gorgeous paint.

Moochie is a special mom. She has a very special story! She lived outside of a woman’s home. She was fed but never vetted nor spayed. She originally came from a farmer who raised brindle Anatolians and Catahoula dogs. She’s smart, loyal and so very sweet.
One rainy cold day she was injured and could not walk. The woman had no resources so we took her to the vet. Nothing was broken but she was bred. We made her a home in our barn with a run. She was not comfortable in a house with our other dogs. She had 7 pups. They have had their first shots and worming. 3 have been adopted.
Moochie is looking for 4 families that need smart healthy loving pups! Please dm Miss Jo’s for more information!
Btw, Moochie is now our permanent Barn Mom and loves her new job. She will be spayed and spoiled and loved❤️

Miss Moochie has taken very good care of her pups. Two have already found a home and we have 5 more to go. They recorded their first puppy shots and worming. After these kiddos are homed we will be able to spay Moochie and take care of her leg that has never healed. She’ll stay at Miss Jo’s unless the right home comes along.
