TWO new Wellness classes for beginners star this week! Low-Impact BoneBuilders is perfect for those who may have tried this before and found it a bit too strenuous. No weights will be used. It will run on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 at our Londonderry location. We are also launching a brand new tai chi class on SUNDAYS at 9 am at the Winhall Community Arts Center, beginning this Sunday Oct 4!

JOIN US ON WEDNESDAY SEP 30! From 9 am to 2 pm we are hosting an open house for community members to explore our new ADULT SOCIAL DAY PROGRAM! Speak with program staff and learn about the activities, music, crafts, games, meals, low-impact movement exercises, therapy dog, and more that we have planned, offering seniors a safe, engaging space to thrive while caregivers get some deserved respite from their daily routine! eighborhood Connections in Londonderry will be opening its new Social Model Adult Day Care Program on Wednesday, Oct. 7, providing breakfast and lunch and offering activities including participatory music, arts and crafts, and games modeled after the Relish curriculum. In preparation, an Open House....

One of the best things you can do to prevent falls is to regularly practice tai chi - a gentle exercise that helps you regain a sense of where your body is in time and space! We have Level I and Level II classes on Wednesday mornings at Neighborhood Connections in Londonderry...And, starting Oct 4 and running through Nov 22, we will have a NEW beginners tai chi class at 9 am on Sunday mornings at the Winhall Community Arts Center! ADULT SOCIAL DAY PROGRAM LAUNCHES OCT 7!

As you may have heard, Neighborhood Connections will be operating a social-model Adult Day program for seniors every Wednesday beginning Oct 7, from 8:30-2:30 pm at our offices in the Mountain Marketplace, Routes 11 & 100, Londonderry.

To introduce you to the details of this program, we would like to invite you to an all-day drop-in open house to speak with staff and see our facility on Wednesday Sept 30, any time from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Vaccination Clinic - Oct. 9! Once again we are working with Conley's Drug Store to offer a wide range of vaccinations: Covid, Flu, Pneumonia, RSV, Shingles, and more. To sign up, you can register online at their website (conleysds.com) or fill out the simple registration form in our office and we will sign you up. NEW THIS YEAR: if you can not get to our offices for the clinic, we can bring the vaccination directly to YOU in your home that afternoon! Just let us know if that is needed! (802) 824-4343.

Many thanks to Tirah Brothers, SHIP counselor (State Health Insurance Program) from Senior Solutions—Area Agency on Aging for Southeastern Vermont, who presented a fantastic program today titled "Medicare 101." As usual, she was clear, accessible, friendly, and objective in her presentation of Medicare options, and we (and our clients!) greatly appreciate her annual visits!
