Welcome to the new Matthew Thornton PTA page. We have started this page to add another avenue for our parents, families, and friends to be informed of upcoming PTA-sponsored activities at Matthew Thornton Elementary School. Your 5th Graders SHOWED UP AND GLOWED UP tonight! This was the most fun evening and us grown-ups had just as much fun as they did!

💃🏼🕺🏾5th graders, are you ready to DANCE the evening away?! Your dance is tonight!!!

MT grown-ups, drop off will begin at 6pm. You can bring your student to the courtyard where a photographer and backdrop will be set up for pictures with you and your kiddos (a folder of the digital pics will be shared via 5th grade teachers). Students can enter the dance through the library door in the courtyard beginning at 6:30pm. The dance ends at 8pm, and volunteers and on-hand staff will bring all students out to the front car line where you can pick them up.

🐯🛍️Our last school store of the year is next week! Check out the fun new items we will have for sale! (Cash only - items are $.25, $1, $2 and $3.)

School store will run during all lunches on Wednesday, May 27th. Since the 4th graders have a field trip that day, we will reopen the shop just for them on Thursday, May 28th.

The Boosterthon rewards are rolling in thanks to the generosity of our MT families! A team of volunteers completed the assembly and delivery of 50 new fans to classrooms this week AND we were able to bring Mrs. Sloper's new learning space ideas to life! Check out our new 5th grade Chill Zone with a NH mural painted by MT's own Miss Edie. Up next will be the 4th grade Chill Zone so stay tuned!

🧡Thank you🧡 MT families and students, we were able to make this a Staff Appreciation Week to remember thanks to your help and support. The love was felt! And we can't kick off a SAW without a gorgeous sign from Card My Yard Merrimack - South!

There just aren't enough THANK YOUS to these local businesses that donated to our staff. We know costs are high these days, but from the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate you. You are all part of Tiger Country 🐯
