David Brett McAfee has been missing from New Market, TN, since October 28th, 2022. His phone alerted of a crash, but no wreck was reported, and no signs of a crash were found.

David's fiancée reported that he was at home and in bed around 7:15 am when she left for work and that when she returned at 3:45 pm, he was gone. She said she tried to call his phone multiple times, but it seemed to be powered off.

At 6:43 pm, David's fiancée received a text on her phone reporting a crash alert from David's phone. She drove to the area of Jefferson City where the alert reported the crash had happened but she did not see any evidence of an accident.

On October 29th, 2022 Investigators pinged his phone in the Walnut Ave area of Jefferson City.

Approximately one week later, David's phone was found behind Providence Church in the same area where the crash was detected.

Investigators reviewed phone records and interviewed numerous people. They have reason to suspect that foul play is a factor in the disappearance of David McAfee.

If you have any information that could help locate him or solve his case, this is your sign to speak up, so please call Detective Sgt. Jonathan Owens (865) 471-6000 ext 1106.

This case thread is open for discussion, suggestions, etc.

I woke up thinking about this local case...

Janson Alex Brewer has been missing from Lawrence County, TN since August 19th 2016. Brewer is 5 feet 8 inches and weighs 178 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on both shoulders, on both hands and on his left forearm.

Janson was last seen by his family on August 19th 2016, when he stopped to get fishing poles to go fishing with. He called his brother on the phone the next day to ask him to bring fishing worms but when his brother tried to call him later that day his phone was off and nobody has been able to reach him since.

Janson was last known to be driving a 1994 silver, stepside ford Ranger. The truck was borrowed and it has not been seen or recovered since Janson's disappearance.

It is believed that Janson was in the company of Daniel Joe Braden (AKA Shawn) who has also been missing since 8/19/2016. Braden is known to have ties to Panama City Beach, FL and areas of East TN. Braden made comments to people about returning to FL to pick up a vehicle he left there prior to his disappearance.

Janson Alex Brewer lived with his mother at the time of his disappearance. He is the father to a 3 year old little girl. Janson had always stayed in contact with his family before his disappearance.

**"His family would really like to have him home."**

It is feared that foul play could have been involved. If you know anything about Janson's whereabouts or what may have happened to him please say something.

He stopped at a house to call for help on a stormy night and was never seen again. -Humphreys County, TN

Christopher "Chad" Wiles went missing on February 7th, 2019. He had bought a Buick and spent the majority of the day showing it off to his friends around town.

Everything seemed good until he headed home that night. It was approximately 8:00 p.m. and stormy when his Buick broke down near the 8200 block of Old Highway 13 in Hurricane Mills, TN. He walked to a nearby home, where he asked to use a phone. He then called his girlfriend to ask if she would come get him. However, she did not pick him up because she had wine that night and did not feel safe driving. He thanked the people at the home for letting him use the phone and walked back towards his car.

He never made it home.

His girlfriend drove around looking for him the following day, and after not being able to find him.

He was reported missing on February 9th, 2019.

Fox 17 reported that Chad's car was found outside of a friend's house on February 9th. His girlfriend said “It makes absolutely no sense to me that his car was found in front of a house of somebody that he knows and that I know; why didn't he go up there?”

The rain was still coming in heavily, hindering search efforts. Once the weather cleared, they searched the area by air, foot, and horseback, but they found no signs of Chad.

Humphreys County Sheriff’s Captain Clay Anderson told WKRN the following in July 2020, “That became very alarming,”. “It brought a lot of red flags up that we can’t find the deceased…I told the sheriff and we started talking about it, this is looking more like a homicide and we don’t have the body.”

Chad's mom, Gail Johnson provided the following statement to WKRN for the July 2020 report “I think harm has come to him…I do not think he’s on an island somewhere, I don’t think he’s being held captive. I believe in my heart he is gone, he would never be on this earth for this amount of time and not called his mom.”

His girlfriend reportedly offered a $500 reward for any information leading to his remains.

Christopher Chad Wiles is still missing, his case is still unsolved and at this point it seems to have gone silent. Help me show his loved ones that people still care.

If you have any information about his disappearance or location, please call the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office at (931) 296-2301.
