From those who reported back, we had 75 participants who collected a total of 182 bags!! We know there will be more volunteers heading out in the coming weeks this spring. Approximate areas cleaned are highlighted on the town map. Our DIY Cleanup Kits will be available by Friday at Town Hall and Leach Library (satellite location) so you can go out and clean anytime. We are grateful for our volunteers!

Our second DIY Roadside Cleaning Station is ready for volunteer citizens to borrow all the supplies they will need to safely and effectively clean roadside trash from neighborhood streets. Located on the first floor of Town Hall, you can borrow and return supplies from 8:30 am - 9:00 pm M-Th and 8:30 am - 5:00 pm F. Thanks to Dave Wholley, Director of Public Works & Municipal Facilities, and Bob Kerry, Environmental Engineer, for their continued support of Beautify Londonderry volunteers!

Saturday, despite the rain, 72 Lancer football player plus parents, coaches, and A.D. James Lauzon turned out in force to do some roadside cleaning with Beautify Londonderry. They picked up 60+bags of trash plus some abandoned furniture! Thank you for your service Londonderry Lancers!

Thankful for all our volunteers out this weekend keeping Londonderry beautiful! 37 volunteers cleaned up 90 bags of trash from the sides of our roads. A job well done! Remember you can check out kits from Leach Library if you want to go out on your own.
