I am interested to see if there is any interest in starting this pack backup. I no longer have a child in Cub Scouts but I do not mind to help get the charter back and get things started for the 1st couple of weeks. It would take at least 7 adults to start the pack along with kids of course. At least one of the adults would need to be willing to go through the training to become the cub scouts leader.

I know I've been quiet but I'm always here!! This has been such a strange year so far and I'm really trying to pay attention to all of the CDC guidelines and recommendations. Boy Scouts also has recommendations of their own so I'm trying to get all the information I can. If there is strong interest in having our meetings this year when school starts then I will do all I can to try to make that happen. Right now virtual meetings seem to be what everyone is saying and I'm not sure how effective that will be. If you all have ideas or rather play it safe and skip a year, I will listen to all of it and try to decide. Please call or private message or leave a comment!!

All meetings for Cubscouts are cancelled for the time being!! I'm hoping and praying that this doesn't last long but we shall see!! Please if you have a book for your den keep looking thru it and doing activities with your scout!! If you need help please message your den leader or me and we will do what we can!!

We will be post poning the PineWood Derby till further notice.

Also remember if there is no school there will be no scout meetings on Mondays!! If weather is nice though we may try to do a hike in a week or two if everyone is healthy!!

Due to illness and the Coronavirus outbreak we are considering postponing the pinewood derby for a couple weeks. Please let me know what you all think!!!

Tomorrow will be trial run for the pinewood derby cars!!! it will give you a chance to test out your car on the track and see how it does and also weigh them. The meeting will be at the American legion tomorrow at the same time 6:30 p.m.

Also the pinewood Derby race will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the American legion, I hope to see everybody there, I am very excited!!

I have talked with a few people and as long as these are still available and no one objects we are going to try to purchase these patches for our scouts. I think this is a great cause and would love to help out in a small way. These will be able to be worn on the uniforms!!

I may not be there tonight due to working out of town but we will have scouts tonight at the Levi Jackson clubhouse. I hope everyone is ready to get back into scouting full swing!! We will be setting dates soon for our pinewood derby and our awards night and raingutter regata and possibly some hikes and a campout. Alot of things coming up this spring, I hope to see you all soon!!
