After the Texas flooding, more people are talking about weather modification.
The tragedy is, the conversation is stuck between two blind spots. One side doesn’t understand the science well enough to see why it matters. The other has the experts, but they distort the truth so badly that no one in their camp can see why it matters either.
Those same experts will point to the flood and claim that climate change intensified the storm. That claim cannot be substantiated with evidence.
We track every ton of carbon, but not cloud seeding. That needs to change. But it won't, until more people become aware of the uncertainties and risks involved.
