There are countless ways that our amazing advisors, Mrs. Thomas and Mr. Hoffman, have impacted and shaped our chapter to be what it is today. They care about making a difference in our chapter and strive to bring people together. One event that they have helped create that sticks out above the rest is our annual Fall Harvest Festival. This takes place at the beginning of September and has progressed into a large event with around 300 people in attendance. There are many things that members and other guests can do like the bake sale, hay ride, co****le, food vendors, and a kiddie tractor pull competition. None of this would be possible without our advisors. For example, Mr. Hoffman takes time out of his summer to come to the school to plant the pumpkins and Indian corn for kids to have at Fall Harvest. He does this to not only bring them to the event, but teaches his classes about growing crops and how to pick them. Mr. Hoffman always wants the best for his students and strives to teach them as much as he can about farming and crops. Mrs. Thomas supervises us and works behind the scenes to make sure everyone is contacted for the event. She helps the officer team make connections with food vendors and ensures we stay on task and organized. Mrs. Thomas is always ready to lend a hand and helps wherever needed. She also makes sure we have plenty of help with the event. In conclusion, Mr. Hoffman and Mrs. Thomas have shaped our chapter into a successful group of young leaders. They encourage us to work hard and stay dedicated. They have pushed us out of our comfort zones and given us leadership roles. Their guidance has made us become a confident, hard working team and take the first initiative. Fall Harvest is an example of how they have helped us be successful but still stepping back and letting us be the leaders they know we can be. Mr. Hoffman and Mrs. Thomas have done more than teach, they impact every student's lives and prepare us for the future.
