So the reenactment community has lost another great man Mr. Christopher Dean Owens was found Saturday morning in his tent unresponsive by fellow members of camp at the battle of Brandenburg. I was in the camp with everyone from the 5th ky, 6th ky, and a few others that make up our group the orphans of the orphan brigade. As of now we don't have any updates on arrangements and I have been putting off releasing this information because my heart is so heavy. Chris (Mongo) Owens was such a great friend and always knew how to make everyone feel like they belonged and they were safe. He will truly be missed....

Hey Folks
Due to the forecasted thunderstorms and strong winds this weekend we have made the decision to cancel the event at the museum this weekend.
Thank you all for your support and we will keep you all informed if we reschedule this event later this year.
