It's been a few days, sorry you haven't heard from us. It gets busy in our little town. But today is the day you've all been waiting for, the June edition of the London Lobo. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as they enjoy making it!!!! Stay tuned as we are getting ready to start preparations for the community I Got Fried in London fish fry.

Hey everybody, great news if you haven't looked outside today the sun is shining!!! You know what that means, yep the grass is gonna need mowed pretty quick!!!!
Today's update is here to tell you that the only road in the London area that is closed is RM 385, Yates crossing is still over the road. RM 1773 still has the barricades up because there was still water running a couple of inches deep in the low areas, but it's passable. We hope everybody has a great weekend.

Good afternoon folks, just in case you haven't looked outside it's still raining in and around London and Kimble county. With that being said several road closures are popping up. You can always go to www.drivetexas.org to check current road conditions. Rm 1773 is currently closed, RM 385 is closed,, Yates crossing is coming up, several roads in the western part of the county are also closed due to high water. So if your traveling be careful and watch for water on the road. Remember Turn Around Don't Drown!!

Here's your weather update!!! In case you haven't looked outside recently.

A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KIMBLE...
SOUTHEASTERN MENARD AND MASON COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM CDT...

At 702 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms in
southeastern Menard and northeastern Kimble counties, moving east at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mason, Art, Pontotoc, Loyal Valley, Yates Crossing, Saline, Streeter,
Hedwigs Hill, Hilda, Long Mountain, Grit, London, Hext, Erna, Us-
377 Near The Kimble-
Menard County Line, The Intersection Of Highway 29 And Ranch Road
1222, Us-87 Near The Mason-Gillespie County Line, and Koockville.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 452 and 455.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
west central Texas.
