Over the next few days we will be sharing photos and videos of our 21st Annual Fall Fundraiser. Everything will be tucked away in this album so that in future years we can reminisce about this night.

We feel that it is only fitting to start the album off with this very special photo that was captured by Tara's assistant, Jemima.

These prayer warriors are from Tara's church, Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. If you know Tara you know how important prayer is to her. She starts every meeting with prayer and we all know we can count on her to pray for us. Seeing her church group pray in the lobby of the hotel before the event started blesses our hearts more than you all will ever know.

Those prayers will be treasured forever...they truly reached the realm of Heaven!

A NEW IDEA, A LITTLE MYSTERY, AND A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!

This year, we welcomed several new members to our Community’s Child Fall Fundraiser Committee, including Bob, who made a little history as the first gentleman to join our committee!

And what a wonderful addition he has been!

Bob brought a fun new idea to our 21st Annual Fall Fundraiser, a W**e Pull!

Here's how it worked! Our hardworking committee collected donated bottles of w**e, each valued between $30 and $115. For just $25, guests selected a numbered poker chip and received the mystery bottle of w**e with the matching number.

The fun part? Nobody knew which bottle they were getting until they opened their bag!

We had more than 50 bottles of w**e, and WE SOLD OUT!

A special thank you to Grocery Outlet in Torrance, who generously donated an entire case of w**e, and to everyone who contributed bottles to make this new fundraiser activity possible.

And of course, a BIG thank you to Bob for bringing fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and something so fun to our event!

We're so grateful for our entire Fall Fundraiser Committee, both our returning members and the new faces who joined us this year. It's amazing what happens when people come together, share their talents, and give their time to support families in our community.

21 years of making a difference, and still finding new ways to bring people together for a great cause!

Some people make a difference for a moment. Others make a difference for decades.

Last night, at our 21st Annual Fall Fundraiser, Community's Child had the incredible honor of recognizing Rene Mizuguchi of Vistas for Children ❤️.

For nearly 20 years, Rene and the wonderful women of Vistas for Children have been making a meaningful difference in the lives of South Bay families through their generosity, compassion, and unwavering support of Community's Child.

Renee is one of those extraordinary people who quietly gives, serves, and lifts others up without ever seeking recognition for herself. But last night, we wanted to make sure she knew just how much her kindness and dedication have meant to us over the years.

The impact of Vistas for Children reaches far beyond the donations and support they have provided. It can be seen in the families who have received help, the children whose needs have been met, and the hope that has been shared throughout our community.

Renee, thank you for believing in our mission, standing alongside us for so many years, and helping us care for the families who need us most.

Your generosity has become part of the story of Community's Child, and we are so grateful that you have been part of our journey.

Here's to celebrating 21 years of Community's Child and the incredible people who have helped make those years possible!
