Provisions for our South Bay Community! We are so grateful that God trusts us to be the store house that He can use to get healthy nourishment to those in need!!

We do not take the opportunity to to connect and contribute lightly.

Thank you to Food Forward Inc. and everyone who picks this produce, delivers the produce, and donates to keep the operation going!

Lastly to our staff, volunteers, and donors....we truly are making a difference together!!!

Great opportunity by a great organization 💖

🐈‍⬛Low-Cost Spay and Neuter for Cats🐈

Spaying and neutering is 🐾SO IMPORTANT🐾 because it helps reduce the overall number of unwanted litters, promotes a healthier life for the cat, and is one way to help combat the overpopulation crisis plaguing our shelters and community.🚫

✔️Each cat must come in a towel-covered hard plastic carrier or metal trap (only one cat per trap). ‼️ NO cardboard, soft or metal carriers will be allowed.

✔️$130 fee includes the surgery, pain shot and antibiotics and an E-collar for females for recovery.

✔️Additional services will available like flea meds, nail trimming and rabies + FVRCP vaccines paid directly to at the clinic.

Behind the scenes on a Wednesday...truthfully this does not even show you all of it!! We have been serving 225 to 285+ families every Wednesday and we know it has become a little overwhelming.

Yesterday we had 276 families!!

We are working on solutions for a better flow each week!!

BUT and if you notice thats a great big BUT, We want you to see how great our volunteers are. They have a great system down and we are blessed to provide our families with nourishing groceries!!!

Calling all prayer warriors. Please send your prayers our way. You could set your phone to pray every Wednesday at this time. Our food distribution has multiplied and we really need the peace and order that comes from the Holy Spirit to invade our Wednesday distribution. Thank you to all of our faithful prayer warriors.

In case you have not heard we serve seniors with essential items every month. This program makes a tangible difference because we meet these seniors right where they are at!

We feel blessed that we can help a community who may feel isolated or forgotten.

The consistency of these monthly services builds trust and dignity, not just support.

This program continues because of compassionate people who believe our seniors matter. Every donation helps us continue delivering essential supplies to seniors in our community.

Did you know that Community's Child has a pantry on the campus of Los Angeles Harbor College 📚? This is a part of what Tuesday looks like at Community's Child. A driver shows up to pick up all of the fresh produce for the students.

The mission does not start or stop with the pick up. It takes a lot of planning and prep to run an on site pantry...let alone off site! But, we will continue to do it because we know this is what we are called to do!!

The mission takes many contributors to continue to operate. Come and join the mission!

We have so much gratitude for Palos Verdes Junior Women's Club ❤️! Thank you for all of the years of support to Community's Child ♡, your generous gift, and beautiful distribution ceremony last night.

Our Executive Director Assistant, Jemima said, "It was the most amazing night!! The stories were so touching, really remarkable. It reminds you that good still exists."

She is 💯 right! PV Jrs., we love how you find a way year after year to connect people together through fun and meaningful events! The way you manage to raise money to support our South Bay Community is a great "BIG REMINDER" that GOOD STILL EXISTS!! God bless all of you!

Several of the ladies from our Board of Directors and Funraising committee attended Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties Purse 👛 BINGO this past weekend in support of The Sunshine Kids Foundation 🌟! What a blessing to support such a meaningful organization!

Our team had a beautiful staff appreciation day at the San Diego Zoo yesterday...thanks to a generous donor!!! It was wonderful to enjoy a day of sunshine, laughter, and Gods beauty!! Looking forward to seeing everyone next week!
