Hey everyone!! Youth hornets have been practicing so hard and wanted to let the community know that we will be hosting games this weekend, Saturday September 13!
8am- 3/4 grade
910am- 5/6 grade
1020am- flag
1130am- 3/4 grade

$4 adults, $2 kids. There will be a full concession stand as well! Come support the little hornets 🐝🏈

Also, we have a raffle going on. Winner getsa custom made grill! Winners will be announced October 4 at noon when we host our 2nd game. All proceeds will go towards the youth football association.

CTXHoops is an open basketball league for girls in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. There will be two divisions: 3/4 grade and 5/6 grade. Practices and games will be held in Goldthwaite and players from surrounding communities are welcome to join.

The league will begin with registration and evaluation on Saturday, September 6 at the Goldthwaite Elementary Gym.
🏀9:00a - 10:30a 3rd & 4th Grade
🏀10:30a - 12:00p 5th & 6th Grade

The registration fee is $75.00, covering a team shirt and officiating costs.

Following evaluation, players will be divided into evenly matched teams. Skills and team practices will be led by adults. Games will be coached by volunteer HS/MS basketball players.

Practices will consist of weekly skills practice for each division. Team practices will be held on the four Saturdays following registration and evaluation. There will be no team practices once games start.

ALL kinder-6th grade, forms are DUE NEXT WEEK (July 31). Please return them to Krystal Kaye Hamilton or Sammy’s cafe. If you need another form PLEASE reach out. Also, if you need help with the fee, please DO NOT HESITATE to ask.

Also I am in NEED of a handful more for the flag team (kinder-2nd). I would love a flag team this year, I just need more sign ups. I am also actively looking for a dad to help coach flag. I have a head coach so just need a helper! And someone on the sidelines to keep them in line (I know that’s a tough job lol).
