💙Today is the day! It is the last race of our 2026 Spring season. We can not wait to see everyone out in the fields.

💚Our Week 5 prep email was sent out this past Friday. It provides a schedule of the days events and additional information.

💙Single day race sign up will open online tomorrow at 3:00. Please check in at the tent between 3:40 and 3:55 on the basketball court to get your runners bib.

💚All runners on tomorrow will receive a medal at the finish line and a coupon from Dominicks Pizzeria for a free individual take home make your own pizza.

Parents, lace up those running shoes!! 👟

The Parent Mile is one of our favorite HKRS traditions! 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️

On Sunday, after our 4th-8th grade milers finish their race (approx 5:00 pm), we’ll host the HKRS Parent Mile! This is completely optional of course, but the kids LOVE cheering you on for a change! Walk, run or complete as a family. Feel free to take your time, as we use this as an opportunity to tally the final scores! 😉

The Parent Mile is FREE, but you do need to fill out this online waiver to participate: https://parentmile.paperform.co/. When you arrive on Sunday, please show your waiver email confirmation to the registration table and they’ll give you a bib for the race.

All Parent Milers will be eligible to win a giveaways from some of our sponsors! Winners will be drawn at the end of the awards ceremony and must be present to claim prize👏

🚨ATTENTION parents of all our 1 mile runners!!!!

This is your reminder to notify Coach Jennifer and Coach Katie if your child has reached the 10K or Half Marathon milestone so they can receive their certificate on our final race!!!

🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️WHO: Any child 4th-8th grade who runs the 1 mile race

❓WHAT: This program is designed to celebrate and encourage our oldest runners who have shown consistency and determination while running mile after mile with HKRS and award them for each milestone.

🕗WHEN: Your child will be awarded a certificate when they complete a 10K (6 one mile races) and a certificate when they complete a 1/2 marathon (13 one mile races) at our week 5 award ceremony this coming Sunday

📧WHERE: If your child is close to completing the 10K or 1/2 marathon milestones please send us an email

FINE PRINT: Runners are able to go back through the results archives and count any full mile race they have run with HKRS in the past, and all full mile races going forward.💚💙 Runners must be registered for the full series in which they will receive the award.

What an absolutely perfect afternoon for a run! After a little rain this morning the sun came out and shined for all of our races!

All of the runners had a great day, we saw a lot of tight racing, personal improvement and all around great running.

🎉IT’S RACE DAY!!!! We are so excited for Week 4! We can’t wait to see you at the starting line!

💙The sun is starting to peek out and we are all set to run today.

💚All runners will receive a special surprise at the finish line today/ be sure to have your runner stop by the table set up next to the finish line

💙Want to join in on the fun? Join us for a single race day for $15 (plus online fee) Single day registration opens at 3 pm. All payment is via credit card on your phone - no cash can be accepted at the park.
