OUR VISION:
For artists and residents of Chicago’s Western Suburbs, Studios630 will be a place to create, collaborate, appreciate and learn. Our goal is to establish a central, bricks-and-mortar location where everyone is welcome to experience the arts. We plan to offer affordable studio space for rent, gallery space, flexible event space for rent, art classes, and a sense of community for local
creatives. We have set our sights on downtown Lombard as the future location of this art center. In the meantime, we are creating a community and hosting events to raise awareness and funds for the project. We hope you’ll come “be a part of art” with us! Motivation
Why are we doing this? Our reasons are twofold:
1. We believe in the power of the arts to revitalize communities.
2. We want to create locally. As we make our community a more welcoming place for fine artists, we will bring local residents more opportunities to experience the arts. By doing that, we’ll make our community a better place to live and work.
