Today, we honor and recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day, celebrating their culture, community, and contributions throughout the Americas. May we always take the field with the respect, reverence, and gratitude for the Creator’s Game, the Indigenous peoples who originated it, and the significant spiritual and cultural roles it played in their communities.

Koomba mental coach Katie Large used to be so scared of making mistakes that she’d take herself out of the game.

She trained as hard as anyone and was still holding herself back. In college she got help with the mental side, started enjoying lacrosse again, and that same season played at a level she’d never dreamed of. She was an All-American at the University of Chicago.

Now she works 1:1 with True athletes on fear of mistakes and pressure in games.

Sixes is six-a-side, faster-clock lacrosse — and it's headed to the Olympic stage at LA28. United Sixes, powered by True Lacrosse and developed in partnership with is giving athletes a pathway to start playing the format now. Ask a coach why it works, and it's simple: more touches for every kid, no one stuck in one position, and a format you can pick up in an afternoon — not a season. That's how players actually get good, fast.
