Feral Fixers

Feral Fixers Feral Fixers is an organization dedicated to practicing & promoting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)

Our Goals:

(a) To educate local governments and the public on the benefits of a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program in DuPage County. (b) To humanely control the population of feral cats in DuPage County, Illinois, primarily through a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program. (c) To provide educational resources and other assistance to feral cat colony caretakers and local veterinarians. (d) To pro

vide coaching on TNR methods to feral cat colony caretakers and others interested in furthering the objectives of TNR. (e) To work in cooperation with other animal welfare organizations interested in furthering the objectives of TNR in DuPage County, Illinois. (f) To promote the importance of spaying and neutering for all cats, feral or non-feral. Feral Fixers offers its TNR services to all colony caretakers, without charge. While we ask for donations from colony caretakers, we recognize that for some of them, any additional cost is just too much. Therefore we rely on donations from other individuals to make up the difference and allow us to continue our work. These donations allow us to spay/neuter additional cats, keep a 'bank' of traps and trap dividers we loan out for free, hold workshops and provide other educational benefits.

🌸 Meet Pella 🌸 After raising five beautiful kittens and being an incredible mom, Pella is finally ready for something that’s all her own: a forever home.

Pella came from a crowded colony and devoted herself completely to her kittens. They’ve grown and are thriving in foster homes. So, now it’s Pella’s turn to be the one who gets spoiled.

This one-year-old gorgeous tortie is as sweet as they come. She loves sitting on laps, being petted and loved on, and cuddling up with her people. She will follow you around for attention but also loves quietly watching the world from a sunny window.

Pella is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she’s close to her humans. She’s the kind of cat who forms a real bond with her family.

Pella would do best as the only cat in the home. While she loves people and seeks out attention, she has shown that she prefers not to share her space with other cats. Coming from a large colony environment, she is happiest when she doesn’t have to compete for territory, food, or attention. She will likely thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and enjoy a calm, predictable environment.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a lap cat, and a best friend wrapped in a beautiful tortoiseshell coat, Pella would be the perfect match.

All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. All cats are living in foster homes in DuPage County and arrangements will be made to meet them after a brief application is reviewed.

Adoption fee is a $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. A contract will be required at the time of adoption.

Effie, also known as Fifi, is a sweet and gentle kitten. She is the quiet mastermind of the litter. She may seem innocent, but dont let that fool you. One of her favorite hobbies is sneaking up on her siblings, delivering a surprise pounce, and then pretending she had absolutely nothing to do with it.

When she isnt plotting her next sneak attack, Effie enjoys playing, snuggling, and nap time. And as if all that werent enough, Effie is absolutely gorgeous!

She loves her sisters and brothers and needs to be adopted with at least one of them or into a home with a young, playful cat so she has a feline friend to keep her company.

Edwin, also known as Mr. Eddie, is a spunky little orange boy who loves getting into playful mischief with his brothers. Youll find him climbing, jumping, pouncing, and being amazed by everything around him.

After playtime, Edwin likes to curl up close, purr, and soak up attention. He is a true orange kitten: very derpy! His soft orange-and-white fur makes him a perfect cuddle buddy, and it is hard to resist giving him a million kisses.

He needs to be adopted with one of his siblings or into a home with another playful kitty who can keep up with his energy.

Hi- I’m Peony! I will definitely catch your eye because I’m a 3 month old torbie, which means I’m a mix of tortoiseshell and tabby. My mom was a tortie so I think I must be the best of both worlds. My beautiful coloring is eye catching and sure this makes me a bit of a princess since everyone tells me how pretty I am! I’m a smart cookie though because I’m the observer of my siblings. I see what they are doing and then decide where to jump in. I love to play and play hard, especially with my sister, Penny. When I’m done, I’ll find a place to chill and watch the action. I’m still working on sitting in laps but if you pick me up, I’ll sit for a bit but then I’m quickly back to playing or observing the others. My favorite toy is the pom-pom that I carry around in my mouth … it is a treasure that I fiercely protect! I need friends to observe and play with so please adopt me with one of my siblings or another kitten!

How do you do? I’m Perkins and my tuxedo coloring makes me feel very formal! I’m the big guy of the group and very handsome. I like to think I have the best manners for a 3 month old kitten. I sit near or next to my foster mom like a proper gentleman but let me make the choice. I also love to run to the door and wait patiently (or maybe not) with my siblings for our foster mom. I am very social. I enjoy petting if I’m not too busy with other things like playing tag with my siblings or checking in on all of them to see if they need a hanging partner. I love cat toys, especially wands. As the handsome gentleman, I have a more mature vibe and like to hang with the older resident cat in my foster home. So, I could be with a young adult cat or teen kitten as a companion.

Hey everybody I’m Pepe! For most of my life (about 3 months), I’ve been the “little brother” because I was the smallest of the group. Now I’m catching up and I’m a sweet black kitten with a lot of personality. I’d rather be on the run chasing my siblings or running to greet my foster mom but I’m getting better at sitting for more than a second on my foster mom’s lap. Mostly, I’d rather sit beside her taking everything in and hoping to catch some pets when I decide I want them. You’ll know how much I love it by my purrs. I wrestle and run laps around the room with my sisters and brothers. Give us a tunnel and some new toys and watch the fun we have. I love all my siblings and it would be great if I could be adopted with at least one of them.
