Association of Latin American Students: ALAS AT LLU To assist in raising sensitivities on LLU campus relative to issues of diversity, equality, and fairness.

To enhance the spiritual growth of the Hispanic students at LLU and help facilitate an atmosphere of professional excellence, social development, and moral principles. To sponsor programs for minority youth to encourage their entrance into the health professions. To help raise the levels of Hispanic student recruitment, admissions, and retention. To disseminate information relative to minority health issues within the professional health care programs at LLU.

ALAS is giving four $1,000 scholarships for SIMS mission trips.

You must be an ALAS member & current LLU student going to a LLU-SIMS mission trip, no other trip will be funded, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Loma Linda University's Diversity Consecration was the first of many graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2019. Students and faculty from the School of Pharmacy attended the annual event, which celebrates the achievements of minority students at LLU and dedicates graduates to a life of service.
