Growing up, Joi didn’t have the traditional mentors that many young people rely on. She learned through grit, trial and error, and the support of friends along the way. But her journey also taught her something powerful: guidance matters.

Today, Joi is paying it forward as a DGA Ambassador, using her voice to encourage others and show that no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Accountancy and enjoys knitting, gardening, and being a lifelong learner.

Every young adult deserves someone who believes in them.
