ONE DAY LEFT!!! TOMORROW IS THE DAY!!!

Real talk... it looks like tomorrow morning may have some rain. BOOO!

In case you were wondering, the odds of it raining on three consecutive Memorial Days in Loganville, GA is about 3.5% (we did the seasonally corrected math). We know its a bummer but we also know many of you will elect to ride, regardless. It currently looks like any heavy rain and storms will hold off until later in the afternoon, but there are no promises... the forecast has been going back and forth like a toddler between grandparents holding cookie jars.

If you are comfortable and experienced riding in the rain, come on, the LEO es**rt makes this about as good as a wet road ride gets. If you are a new rider, or are not comfortable riding with some rain... don't force it. This is a big ride even when it is small and it is no time to be cutting your teeth on spray.

No matter how you come, no matter if you ride, here are our final thoughts:

1. We hope you have enjoyed our countdown. Thanks to everyone who shared, liked, and played along.
2. Bring cash tomorrow, it will make your life better, we promise.
3. Come with a tank full of gas, we have been clear about this.
4. If you plan to ride with your group, arrive as a group. We do not have room for you to figure it out in our lot.
5. Have your gate money easily accessible. A smooth gate is a happy gate.
6. Remember to patronize or otherwise thank our amazing sponsors. The money we raise every year helps veterans of all ages.
7. Ride safe and don't be a pinhead. The person in front of or behind you could be on their first group ride, model good behavior.
8. Sign your waiver then get your T-Shirt early to be sure to get your size. Grab a pin or patch while you are at it. Come back in the afternoon, it will be a good time and we have lots of great raffle prizes this year.
9. Respect the day, the crosses, the flags and be moved by the patriotic Americans along the route.
10. Share your pictures and videos with us, we love that, really.
11. Thanks for helping keep this amazing ride alive all these years and for helping us mark this important day together!
12. We love all y'all (except that one guy, you know who you are).

For those of you who will be driving cars tomorrow, please note that the parking situation has changed this year! The map below shows that our normal car lot is not available. You will be able to park behind that area or in local lots as space is available. People will be out there to help guide you. DO NOT RUN THEM OVER, that would be both rude and counter productive since then you would be lost until the police found you.

Anyway, golf carts shuttles will also be running back and forth to the Bank OZK lot for those that need assistance. Shuttle service will start at 6:30 AM (roughly)

If you had planned to ride, but don't want to because of the potential weather, please come out in the afternoon to enjoy the food trucks and the festivities. We don't judge, we just want people to participate safely!

As promised, we will post about the raffle and auction prizes here in a few minutes but first this very important thing...

Ride for America is an LEO es**rted ride that goes like

A -> B -> A

Hint:
A = Loganville
B = Madison

If you leave with us from (A) Loganville, and nothing bad happens, you should not have to put your feet down until you park in (B) Madison for the ceremony there. Same on the way back, once you are rolling you should be able to roll all the way back.

A couple of important points about this...

If you are NOT planning on riding back to Loganville from Madison, PLEASE PARK ALONG THE SIDES, so that we can get the B-> A folks out smoothly.

If you leave with use from A to go to B or B to come back to A PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE RIDE ALONG THE ROUTE... we take safety very seriously on this ride and people popping in and out of the ride creates a dangerous condition for our many riders of various experience levels. Please, if you are part of the group, and nothing bad happens, stay in the group until the end of the ride.

If something bad happens, pull over out of the flow of the ride and wait for the support vehicle.

Thanks!

Your friendly RFA Safety nerds.

So close now!!! Just two days left until the 28th Annual Ride for America. Even if you don't ride, you can still come out and participate in the Memorial Day activities, grab some food from the food trucks, party with us when the riders return from Madison.

We will post a list of raffle and auction prizes later today, but there will be door prizes too!

If you are planning to see the ride from alongside the route, there are no changes this year. Go to where you have gone and help show our many riders how much this day means to all of us.

And then thou shall count to THREE! No more, no less...

It's time to talk weather. We are watching the forecast, you are watching the forecast. If the current pattern holds, we expect to get the ride in before the normal summer pattern stirs up afternoon rain but do be prepared for anything (we have had hot sun and cold rain but never had holy hand grenades, one never knows).

Do take some time to make sure both your gear and your bike is ready for the potential of wet roads and rain. This ride is in memory of our fallen, they put up with more than rain to answer our nation's call to arms.

We ride, rain or shine, or even some morning clouds which is what we are currently expecting.

4 days left until RFA 2026!

Four is small but still not a tiny number which reminds us... I

f you are on of those custom rat rod trikes with a real wide arse end or in a slingshot kind of contraption, you will be staged in a special area, please follow instructions at the gate.

In order to get the most bikes, trikes, etc. in the parked our very scientific lanes are made just wide enough for the baggers, bobbers, and the standard trike kits.

Don't get offended, we still love you, just the way you are. Once you are out on the road your experience will be just as awesome.
