💈✂️ **A decade of showing up for our students!** 💛

For more than a decade, **Markus Wingfield** has been using his talent to give back through the Myles Singleton Foundation. Since 2013, Markus has volunteered his time and skills each year to provide haircuts for students at the **Barrow County Back 2 Bold event** as part of MSF’s Back 2 School Program.

Year after year, he shows up ready to serve, helping students look and feel their best as they head into a new school year. What started as a single act of service has become a tradition that has continued for more than a decade. That kind of consistency is what community impact looks like. 🙌

Markus, thank you for sharing your talent with our students and for making giving back part of your yearly tradition. We are grateful for the way you continue to support MSF and the communities we serve!

🌟 Going above and beyond — without even being asked! 🌟

Some of our biggest supporters aren’t even on our team — they’re community members who show up simply because they care. As part of our 2025 Awards, we were honored to recognize Yvette Ramsey for the time, energy, and heart she gave to the Myles Singleton Foundation last year. 💛

Yvette volunteered at two of our Thanksgiving events, helping us create special experiences for women and children residing in domestic violence shelters. She also joined us for our Georgia/SC Christmas Gift Wrapping Party, helping prepare personalized gifts for the families we serve. 🎁

Yvette, you didn’t have to show up — but you did, again and again. Thank you for giving your time, sharing your heart, and being an example of what community service truly looks like! 🙌💛

🎤 MSF Live Flashback! 🎶

At just 17 years old, SOG Minion brought a fire and passion for God that had the whole crowd on their feet! His performance spoke directly to the youth, and by the end, he had everyone chanting "Opps Dead" right along with him — not as a threat to anyone, but as a declaration that the enemy, the devil himself, has no power here. 🙌🔥

It was a powerful reminder that our young people are ready to stand boldly for their faith, in their own voice and on their own terms.

💛 A personal thank-you from our Executive Director 💛

As Executive Director, I had the honor of personally selecting individuals who I felt truly earned recognition this year for their impact on MSF’s mission. These are people whose dedication doesn’t always make headlines, but it makes all the difference. 🙌

While some of the awards may speak for themselves, I wanted to share a little more about what made a few of these team members stand out.

🏆 Dynamic Duo — Zeedella & Chas
They earned this award after stepping up to host the Florida Christmas Gift Wrapping Party on their own. They took on the responsibility of making sure everything came together and that our gifts were ready for the families we serve.

⭐ Solo Star — Margurite
Margurite received this award for stepping up to serve the food at PADV’s 50th Birthday Bash Celebration on her own. She didn’t hesitate to jump in and make sure everyone was taken care of.

💛 First to Serve — Gabriel
Gabriel received this award because she is consistently the first team member to reach out to the Christmas family she is assigned to. Her initiative helps ensure our families feel welcomed, supported, and cared for from the very beginning.

These are just a few examples of the dedication, initiative, and heart that our team members bring to MSF. I’m incredibly grateful for each person who gives their time and talents to help us serve our communities.

Her performance of "Choose You" was a beautiful reminder that no matter what we're facing, choosing God brings peace that nothing else can. Her voice filled the air with joy, worship, and pure inspiration. 🙌💛
