The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is hosting “Community Night Out” tonight at Meridian Park in Loganville. This event is designed to provide the community with information about resources available in the event of an unforeseen circumstance. Those include law enforcement, victim advocacy, security companies, healthcare, and more!! There will also be food and family fun! We hope to see you there!

GAWL Night Out! We’re having a wine tasting at Thursday, October 20th at 6:00 pm. Members: For $25 you will get to try 3 appetizers with a wine pairing! (You really can’t beat that!) Pairing #1 a Sauvignon Blank and goat cheese/ olive crostini Pairing #2 a Tempranillo and shrimp and grits Pairing #3 a Zinfandel or Shiraz with a chocolate dessert. The final head count is due October $13th. Your payment will be your RSVP, so get your payment in to lock in the $25 price. Send payments to — cash, check, or Venmo. We are excited to help host the Joint Bar Association Holiday Happy Hour this year! The goal (other than having a blast with our fellow lawyers) is to collect gift cards to donate to Walton, Newton, and Rockdale Accountability Courts. Please consider donating grocery, gas, and ride share cards to help accountability court participants successfully navigate their programs!

Last night was our First Annual East Metro GAWL Spring Garden Party, and it was an overwhelming success. The planning committee really out did themselves.
