FOP #71 Logansport

Today marked the 17th anniversary for the Logansport FOP Lodge #71 Cops and Kids Day (aka Shop with a Cop). With the help of our gracious donors from the citizens and businesses of Cass County we thank you as this would not be possible without your support. This year we took approximately 72 kids from the 6 Cass County Schools. Wal-mart rocked as usual while Pizza Hut and Mcdonalds pitched in this year to donate gift certificates to the kids. Participants today included the Logansport Police Dept, Logansport Fire Dept, Cass County Sheriffs Dept, Indiana State Police, DNR, Winamac Police Dept, Russiaville Police Dept, Royal Center Fire, Cass County Fire District 1, Cass County EMA, Cass County Ambulance Service, Cass County Special Officers, IN DOC, Logansport Juvenile Facility, Discount Towing, Logansport Community School Corporation members, AmVets Cpl. Humbert Sanchez Post 82621, Dept of Child Services and from the Logansport High School Key Club. The Logansport FOP Lodge #71 accepts donations all year by contacting the Logansport Police Department.

The Fraternal Order of Police Logan Lodge #71 would like to thank Kerlin’s Party Rentals LLC for their generous donation to Shop with a Cop. The FOP had a booth at their Bouncetober Fall Festival held on 10/4/2025 where we handed out goodies to the kids.

Logansport FOP #71 would like to thank the Chad Lambert Youth Athletic Fund for their $1000 donation to Shop with a Cop. Donations like this allow Lodge #71 to continue to fund a great cause.

Logan Lodge #71 would like to thank all of those who came out to support our fundraiser on October 6th at the Logansport Pizza Hut. As always the staff was great and we enjoyed the evening of fellowship.

Logansport FOP #71 would like to thank the Dutch Mill for their generous donation of $1000. Proceeds from their Travis Savini memorial benefit ride will go towards our Shop with a Cop day. Donations like this allow Lodge #71 to continue to fund a great cause.

The Logansport FOP Lodge #71 would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Claud Bailey who passed away September 30th 2025. Claud served 25 years with the Logansport Police Department before retiring in 2002. Today family, friends and co-workers gathered to celebrate the life of Claud.

We've been quiet but busy working on our festival as well as delivering great experiences to our customers! We have a small surprise to reveal at the festival 🎃🎃 and we cant wait! Help us make this festival a huge success by marking it in your calendars and sharing as much as you can stand!! Looking forward to seeing everyone come together and support a good cause as well as possibly win some cool prizes! We're planning to open up the beef and gun raffles as soon as we finalize a few more details!

On August 30th the Logansport FOP Lodge 71 softball team participated in the Cass County 9/11 Memorial Tournament. The FOP squared off against the Logansport Fire Department who defeated the Cass County Fire District 1 team earlier in the day to advance to the championship. The FOP team won the traveling trophy after a fun filled game with our brothers in the big red fire trucks. Until next year. Stay safe.
