Tonight we celebrated another year together in service to our community. Tutors and students were recognized for their accomplishments. However, due to circumstances beyond control, our special Evelyn Davis Award will be presented to the recipient at a later date. We were honored to have music performed by Brian and Elanie with folks in attendance also participating. Special thanks to Dave Miller, our President for his leadership, and to all Board members who helped this evening. 🎉

Last evening, Literacy Volunteers hosted a Tutors' Event at the Logansport Library. Excellent Elizabeth was the honored guest speaker who left us with several "Tips for Tutoring ". Tutors agreed to incorporate the tips in their strategies. Tutors were provided with new resource tools for binders and treated to special marvelous morsels from Vibrant Events Catering service. Nineteen people attended. Thank you to everyone who could attend and to those who helped. Looking forward to the next "Big Thing" called Literacy Volunteers of Cass County's annual meeting and banquet! Please save the date: June 11th at 6pm.
