Goals for a DFC funded coalition:
Establish and strengthen collaboration among communities, public and private non-profit agencies, and Federal, state, local and tribal governments to support community coalitions working to prevent and reduce youth substance use. Reduce substance use among youth by addressing the factors in a community that increase risk for substance use and promoting factors that minimize risk for substance use.

Today is the last day of the month and the last chance we have to give our Stand UP and Stand Out recipient for the month a big shout out!!

Thank you for all you do for the community. For the amazing pizza, ice cream and breadsticks (and potatoes when you have them). :P

You are more then just a restaurant, but you are a destination! Very unique set up! You have family activities (events and game area), tons of seating, and an ice cream parlor set up too!

You have some of the nicest staff as well! We appreciate you! U-Know Pizza and Sandwich Shop

**August 31 is Grief Awareness Day.** đź’š

Grief can look different for everyone. It may come after the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, a sense of stability, or another meaningful part of life. There is no single timeline for grieving and no “right” way to move through it.

Today is a reminder to lead with compassion — for ourselves and for others — and to remember that support is available.

If grief is feeling especially heavy, reaching out can be an important first step.

Always a fun day!

We are still seeking volunteers for LIVE UNITED® Day! This year, LIVE UNITED® Day falls on the 25th anniversary of 9/11. We're honored to be an Official Program Partner of 9/11 Day.

Please join us to as a volunteer by registering at https://form.jotform.com/261986323628063

We'll kick the day off at Vibrant Events Catering & Event Center. Volunteers will be dismissed to their project sites after kick-off. At the end of the day, we'll celebrate the hard work of all our volunteers at Bonus Pints (more details to come)! We would also like to thank WoodBridge Health Campus for donating lunches again this year!
