On: October 17th @ 10 am - 11 am

We'd like to get together to plan a Q***r & Ally Dance.

Many Q***r individuals miss out on key moments through life. One of these is having the chance to ask or be asked out to a school dance.
We're looking to plan and host a dance where folks can experience that moment. So let's recreate that!!

But first, we'll need your help and brilliant ideas!

Come and hear the musical oratorio that explores the life, death, and legacy of Matthew Shepard.

A reception will follow the performance at The Logan Pride House commemorating our 10th Anniversary Year!

Matthew Wayne Shepard was an American student at the University of Wyoming who was beaten, tortured, and left to die on a fence near Laramie on October 6, 1998. He was transported by rescuers to Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he died six days later from severe head injuries sustained during the attack.

This Sunday (Oct. 11th 2 PM - 7 PM) will be *National Coming Out Day*, **St. John's** will be hosting a couple of musical numbers by the **interfaith choir** in celebration (). (Just a little preview of the actual full concert they will be doing in November.)

We would like to host an Open House "come out and get to know us". We were hoping to open up the Pride House for folks to stop by and get to know who we are and why we are here. Part of that is that we'd like to have the Board Member, Group Facilitators, and the Regulars there to help establish a good connection and vibe.
We'd love to hear and share your insights with the rest of the community!!

Hopefully we'll be able to invite people in the Valley who don't know why exactly we are running our services (city leaders, sponsors, and new attendees)

We're at The Giant Pumpkin Festival today!! We'd love to see and hear from you, come swing on by.. 👋🏼

We are located in the Kids Activity Section which is next to the B**r Garden (across from Great Harvest). Our activity will be glueing and colouring a Rainbow Stick Craft! ☁️🌈

So let's recreate that! We're looking to plan and host a dance where folks can experience that moment. But we'll need your help.

What we'll be looking for:

**Catering lead**
- Navigating food sensitivities.
- Ensuring everyone has something to eat.
- Deciding the food at the event

**Sponsor/Collaboration lead**
- locating sponsors
- connecting with the community at large to fulfill event needs

**Activities lead**
- Plans the activities of the event

**Entertainment lead**
- Plans the entertainment

**Marketing lead**
- Markets the event

**Decor lead**
- Plans and decorates for the event
