Wildfire is driven by climate; forest thinning and widespread logging (current policy) will have little effect in preventing the fires we expect this year and into the near future.

Just returned from a backcountry hike in Bryce Canyon NP. Wow, so cool to see the marvelous flourishing of aspen post-fire (15 yrs) with a backdrop of beautiful red/pink cliffs!
