Everyone, we messed up. One squad did not follow the written stage brief for the August classifier. In effort to be fair to everyone, credit cannot be given for the classifier. The classifier designation will be removed, and the scores will be reposted to PractiScore and then the USPSA. There were a few of us there who should’ve caught it. I apologize to everyone involved.

It may be tomorrow before this is complexly fixed. I’m nowhere near a computer today.

Thanks to those who caught it. This has never happened before, and we’ve always tried to do things right.

CANCELLED / SORRY. Range closed for event at 09:30 Saturday, 07/18/26 for a fun practice shoot. Shooting @ 10:30. Range reopens around 2:00. Few pieces of steel and maybe a target or two in a small stage using USPSA rules. Open to club members and invited guest free of charge. Eyes and ears mandatory. Cold range for events. Good chance to dry fire and then live fire to get familiar with range commands, procedures, and safety. If you already planned on shooting Saturday, come on out anyway. It is way more fun than anything you could do on your own.

Rain wasn’t bad, and it wasn’t too hot. The July USPSA match is in the books. Thanks to everyone who helped. Specifically Shane Saddler helped me this morning finish my targets. I’m appreciative of everyone who helped tear down. Had some descent stages. Here is the link to PractiScore.

Update: We have for the foreseeable warm months someone to help with the grass. However, I still welcome member volunteers to help with anything we do (like match setup). If a member wants to help; we won’t turn him away.

Wanted: Need a club member who would mow grass this week, hit me up. Monday and Wednesday look pretty good, and we have a match Saturday.
It probably needs mowed twice monthly, and sometimes matches get cancelled if it rains for a whole week before a match.
It is rough on the setup crew if they have to mow for two days, spend one evening setting up, and then have to work the match all day on Saturday. A few times I’ve mowed by headlights.
I am looking for someone who will help on a schedule and not have to be asked. If you would enjoy helping out, contact me on messenger.

Jim
