April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Sexual exploitation and abuse are more common, and closer to home than most people realize. But so is the possibility of prevention, healing, and change.

At PHASE Alliance, we work across the full continuum:
Prevention. Education. Healing.
Because awareness alone isn’t enough.

Through Fight the New Drug and the Malouf Foundation, we are:
– Educating millions on the realities of exploitation
– Equipping communities to recognize and respond
– Providing trauma-informed care for survivors on their path to healing

This month and every month, we stand with those impacted and commit to building a world where fewer people are harmed and more lives are restored.

We’re honored to share some powerful feedback from a family in the Juniper program here at The Malouf Foundation:

“It has been a very excellent experience. I believe 100 percent that we are on a good path. I think all of the sessions have been very productive. All of the tools that Juniper uses are very effective.”

Since beginning services, this young person has started to open up more with their family, something that once felt nearly impossible. They’re sharing more about their daily life, building stronger connections, and making meaningful progress in communication.

They’ve also reported fewer nightmares after practicing targeted interventions for trauma, and are experiencing more positive moments at home while continuing to work toward even deeper connection.

This kind of progress is only possible through compassionate, consistent, and holistic support. We’re incredibly grateful for the dedicated team members at Juniper and partners who walk alongside families every step of the way.
