Friends, we are hurting in the financial department. I would love to find someone willing to organize and host a fundraiser for us. 🫶🙏

Some details:
I did just stock up on litter (because 10X points at PetSmart) and we have a lot in the way of kitten food, but the vet bills keep coming.

Ursula needs a pain injection every few days, to the tune of $40 each. I'm hoping she only needs one or two more before the nerve pain from her amputation wears off, but idk.

Yam will need another $200+ in testing in a couple of weeks.

I have several cats that need to be combo tested (for FIV/FeLV) which is (I think) $45/cat.

I have also gone through a ridiculous amount of antibiotics lately, and I'm actually completely out of kitten vaccines, and I'm hoping to get some kittens spayed/neutered on June 12th.

We have venmo (), or you can donate directly to the veterinarian (Cache Meadow Veterinary Clinic). But really we need a fundraiser, and I don't have time to organize one. :( any volunteers?

Volunteer Spotlight on Shuweii! We very affectionately refer to Shuweii as our Laundry Fairy. The dirty, stinky laundry magically disappears for a while, and when it reappears it's clean and even folded! Shuweii is a true blessing, especially since I don't have laundry machines at the sanctuary. 😬

When she's not working magic on gross towels and blankets, she enjoys spending time with friends, family and pets, attending concerts and reading. For work she has her hands in a little bit of everything from CRM, analytics to web content.

I will have to release these kittens and their adult companions back to their colony if I can't find fosters for them. This is not ideal for a number of reasons that most of us will be able to infer, but I am drowning and I need to come up for air before I throw in the towel and dissolve the rescue altogether. 🙃

Caring for 30+ cats and kittens largely on my own is not sustainable. Please foster. :)

Here's the application.

We're located in Logan. You'll need to be able to travel to Logan for adoption events and medical care. I provide medical supplies and pay for vet bills when needed, but food, litter, and enrichment is generally provided by the foster (I am happy to help if rescue funds or donations allow it, but they generally don't). You'll need a space to keep the fosters separate from your pet cats for 2-4 weeks, and most kittens will need at least some basic medical care (e.g., administration of antibiotics). Ideally you will be committing to keep your kittens until they are adopted, which is usually 2-4 months.

Hi, Friends! I am looking for someone who wants to be my volunteer coordinator! Assigned duties would include recruiting volunteers, setting up a schedule as needed, and coordinating who is helping when and in what capacity.

Volunteers are needed for cleaning at the sanctuary, basic cat care (feeding, grooming, cleaning kennels), adoption events, and other miscellaneous tasks.

If you'd be interested in such a task, please reach out via messenger or text. It'll look good on a resume! ;)

Volunteer Spotlight on Melissa! Melissa has been volunteering with CVCW for a while now. She frequently drives cats out to Tremonton and back, and she designed our T-Shirts and the logo on the front window at the sanctuary, and lots of other things. She and her husband even helped me weatherproof my catio!

She's an occupational therapy assistant by trade, specializing in the geriatric population. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping, road trips, paddle boarding, crafting, and of course her cats.
