WE ARE HIRING! For a very part time posistion helping with Volunteer Coordination.
Salary: $150 per month stipend
Job Type: Part-Time as a 1099 Contract Employee, approximately 10 hours a month, not to exceed $150. This position will begin as soon as the right candidate is hired and continue through December 2026 with the possibility of renewal.
Location: Work From Home

Description: Loaves and Fishes Community meal seeks a Volunteer Coordinator to assist the Executive Director and Meal Director in coordinating the meal volunteers, volunteer, recruitment, and inquiries about volunteering with our organization.
Qualifications:
The right candidate needs to be computer savvy in operating programs such as google drive, google sheets, other web based computer programs, and use gmail. The right candidate will need to be organized, detail oriented, have excellent oral and written communication skills and be professional when acting as an agent for Loaves and Fishes community meal. This person will need to be able to help set and meet deadlines and work without supervision and oversight. Willingness to work as a team with other leads in the organization. It is helpful if this person has reliable access to a computer.
Responsibilities:
Communicating with meal volunteers prior to each meal, ensuring that we have the appropriate number of volunteers for each meal (two per month). Help the meal Director and Executive Director coordinate the search for new long term volunteers when needed. Assist with tracking which volunteer groups have attended volunteer orientations and helping to put on a volunteer orientation when needed. Help with the annual scheduling of groups in the fall of each year. Respond to volunteer inquiries.
