Avoid the mental tally! Sometimes we unintentionally start comparing all that we sacrifice and give to our marriages and see all the ways that our spouse doesn’t measure up. 📐

That’s hardly fair because life is all about give and take. You’re going to have seasons of your life where you rely on your spouse more and you give less, 💞and others where you are the primary strength and the giver of the relationship. 💪

If you just give 100%—which will look different for you at different times in your life—then you’re doing all you can for your marriage. Improving your marriage starts with you, and your spouse will follow suit.

Keeping score just highlights the negative. Drop it!
