Bear River Land Conservancy Conserving critical lands in Cache, Rich, and Box Elder counties, Utah. We are a private, nonprofit organization.

Our mission is to preserve the benefits of land and water in Northern Utah and the Bear River Watershed for present and future generations. We do this by partnering with communities and landowners to permanently sustain the heritage of working lands and protect natural areas.

Volunteers needed! Our first monitoring adventure this weekend was a HUGE success. We marked and identified hundreds of Ute Ladies'-tresses and could use more help this Saturday morning (August 8 ) at 8:30 am. Your job would include walking a cool wet meadow with super passionate people and marking these blooms for a couple of hours. Reach out here or email [email protected] for complete details.

Did you know our local orchards do double duty? They produce the delicious apples in your drink while providing critical habitat for local wildlife.

Join us for a unique evening celebrating both! Enjoy a flight of locally crafted hard c***r while playing Wingspan, the award-winning board game about attracting birds to your wildlife preserves.

✨ No experience needed! We’ll have all the game supplies on hand and friendly guides ready to teach you how to play. Must be over 21.

The Ute Ladies’-tresses are blooming at Bear River Land Conservancy’s Mendon Meadow Preserve!! Usually we see just a few on Pioneer Day, but this week we saw a few dozen! We are seeking volunteers to help count and mark these federally listed plants on Saturday morning, August 1, at 8:30am.
