New Episode!!

In this episode, we discuss our recently released snapshot titled “Homelessness Among Utah Women: A 2025 Update.” This snapshot examines national and Utah trends in homelessness over the past several years, including demographic characteristics of Utah women experiencing homelessness, contributing factors, and state spending. It also highlights current efforts and opportunities for Utahns to help decrease homelessness and better meet the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness. We’ll unpack all of that and more in today’s episode.

Dr. Susan R. Madsen, an Extension Professor of Leadership at Utah State University and the Founding Director of the UWLP and A Bolder Way Forward, is joined by Dr. Robyn Blackburn, Research Fellow with the Utah Women & Leadership Project.

We are hiring! Join our team as the Program Assistant and support impactful work in research, community engagement, and statewide initiatives. This role provides broad programmatic, operational, and administrative support to advance the mission and initiatives of the UWLP.

Fortunately, this position is funded through Utah State University (not the legislative funding that was just removed), offering a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful, collaborative work. We have appreciated Kylie Hollingsworth in that position for the last 6 years and encourage her forward as she starts graduate school this summer.

If you’re organized, proactive, and passionate about moving mountains for Utah women, girls, and families, we’d love to have you apply. To learn more and apply, visit here: https://lnkd.in/gyhVF3HX
