Whispering Canyons Foundation 501c3 A non-profit foundation dedicated to helping teen girls learn life skills and hard work through the care and training of horses Merrill Gould
Founder

A few years ago, I, Merrill Gould, was wondering what I should do with the horses that I owned. I wondered if I should sell them or give them away. As I was in the midst of this deliberation, a daughter asked me to give her riding lessons. It wasn't long before more young girls wanted to join producing the need to find more horses. This proved to be a good experience for these girls, because they learned horsemanship by having to care for their horse each afternoon. The became better students in school, more reliable and happy at home, and gained more self-confidence as they learned horsemanship skull's. This increase in character and sense of responsibility is important to nurture our youth of today.

Just another beautiful morning with all our furry friends at the ranch! ❤️

This little pony, Buffalo, has come SO far! 🐴❤️ Aaron has worked so hard with him, especially teaching him to pull the cart. It has been so fun watching them learn and grow together. We can’t wait to see what’s to come for this little guy!
