The Flores Family Community Garden’s newest foreman isn’t much for meetings, but he’s excellent at supervision.

This orange cat is ours.

He’s the self-appointed boss of the Flores Family Community Garden, chief inspector of every project, owner of every comfortable seat, and supervisor of everything that happens around here.

Every visitor eventually learns whose place this really is.

The king of the garden. The boss of the saddle. The love of my life. ❤️🐾🌱🤠@@

🌅 It is not about the vegetables.

As the sun set over the garden, Tony and I reflected on all it has given us beyond the harvest.

🌱 We've grown food, friendships, and a community rooted in kindness and connection.

What began as a small garden plot became a place of belonging, thanks to every volunteer, supporter, donor, and friend who believed in this vision.

The harvest matters, but so do the connections we've made.

This week's SNAChampion is the Flores Family Community Garden! They generously donated 11 dozen farm fresh eggs to SNAC- which flew out of our fridge! We are so thankful for their donation! 🐓
