🌱 The Flores Family Community Garden is thriving! 💚
Every time we walk through the garden, we’re reminded of what can happen when a community comes together.
The vegetables are growing, the flowers are blooming, and the pathways are filled with neighbors helping neighbors. Families are harvesting fresh produce, volunteers are lending a hand, and new friendships are taking root right alongside the tomatoes, squash, and beans.
This season, the garden is serving around 200 community members, including refugees, immigrants, veterans, families, and seniors. Fourteen of our garden beds are dedicated to growing fresh produce for the Cache County Food Pantry, helping ensure that even more families have access to healthy food.
There is still plenty of work ahead, but it’s exciting to see this space becoming more than just a garden. It’s a place to learn, serve, grow, and belong.
A huge thank you to every gardener, volunteer, donor, and community partner who has helped make this possible. You are growing something far bigger than vegetables—you are growing #
