Food recovery is a vital part of our mission. We are fortunate to work with many wonderful local restaurants, grocery stores, and catering companies that regularly donate food to our pantries.

Do you remember the excitement of the first day of school? There was nothing quite like walking into your new classroom feeling confident in a brand new outfit and a fresh pair of shoes. Unfortunately, many children in our community do not get to experience that feeling.

This $5 Friday, we are highlighting several pressing needs.

Firstly, a senior citizen is facing significant financial strain due to high medical expenses, resulting in difficulties paying utility bills and buying food.

Secondly, two families are struggling to pay rent following unexpected expenses, one due to illness-related work absence and the other due to essential car repairs needed for their delivery job.

Lastly, our pantries are severely depleted, lacking essential items such as milk, butter, meat, macaroni & cheese, and pasta, which are crucial for families to prepare meals. We have seen so many families leave with nothing this week..

As you may have heard - we are in jeopardy of losing our home at Coconut Cove - there are plans in the works to try and keep it open, but in the meantime, keeping expenses at a minimum is important.

One of the ways to reduce expenses is to have volunteers come clean, and believe me if I could be there I would be there in a heartbeat! I LOVE TO CLEAN...but I just had surgery yesterday and I’m still in a massive CRPS flair. So, that being said, I need people to go in my place. They will be starting at 5:30 tonight and working all night, the goal is to clean like your mother-in-law’s coming over for the first time!🤣😜

So please show up anytime after 5:30, come in crummy clothes, if you have extra cleaning supplies , rags, or paper towels, please feel free to bring them. We will have stuff and go get stuff as needed.
I’ve said this before and I will always say it, it takes a village, it takes an entire community to do what we do. So if you’ve been blessed by this charity, here is a great way to help.

If you just love to clean, if you love Coconut Cove, or if you just wanna get out on a Friday night, we don’t care what the reason.... is we just need you!

If you need to bring your little ones, Keisha Pink is bringing her movie projector and putting a movie on so bring a pillow and a blanket, and the kids can lay down and watch movies.

If you can’t come, but have supplies you would like to donate. That would be great also!

I am a cleaning fanatic so me not being there makes me really sad so please go in my place!!

Today marks the 2026 first day of Utah Families Feeding Families (FFF) lunch program for kids in the Cache Valley Area. We run our school lunch program when the district program is closed. Helping kids have lunch everyday durning the summer!
