Lift Lodi began as an idea and has grown into a vibrant mission to help Lodi's community members serve, uplift, revitalize and connect during these divided times. We organize an annual Community-Wide Day of Service on a Saturday each May in Lodi, Okee and Harmony Grove. During that day, we connect over 220 volunteers with service projects all around our local area including landscaping, painting,
cleaning, raking, building, planting, etc. The money we raise as a non-profit is used for purchasing a variety of tools (pruners, rakes, wheel barrows, etc.), supplies (gloves, garbage bags, first aid kits, etc.), and snacks and lunch for all volunteers. We also fundraise to complete an even bigger project each year that benefits the entire community. Currently, (2023) we are raising $23,460 for the prep and painting of a building wall and for the design and painting of a community mural. Our next project (2024) is to raise money for building a dog park on Sauk Street in Lodi.
