Congratulations to our brand-new class of Sturgeon Stewards! This past Saturday, the Nimbus Fish Hatchery hosted Sturgeon Sessions that provided education on all things sturgeon – life history, ecology, status, conservation efforts and much more. The next Sturgeon Sessions will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and are approximately 45 minutes long. All ages welcome. Reserve your spot today by emailing [email protected] and become a Sturgeon Steward by attending one of our sessions and learning about one of California’s coolest species.
