San Joaquin Kennel Club The San Joaquin Kennel Club is an all breed dog club which holds an annual dog show the first weekend in June each year.

The San Joaquin Kennel Club, is over 100 years old, and has been operating in the Stockton, CA, USA area since its inception. We hold a yearly dog show the first weekend in June. Our emphasis is on the safe and ethical handling, training, treatment and breeding of pure bred dogs. We have a prominent panel of judges for both conformation and obedience trials. We offer Canine Good Citizen testing, h

ealth clinics, puppy showing, junior handling awards, PeeWees, FastCAT, exhibitions, etc. We also are very proud to provide education to the public through tours, brochures, child activities, and introductory programs for pet owners.

The SJKC Meet The Breed Boards are starting to roll in! We are excited to display these in the main pavillion during our 2027 show.

This is a great way to help educate spectators, encourage breed conversation and generally showcase your favorite breed! Being that most shows cannot house or provide all the breeds for a real life Meet the Breed event, your breed club can sponsor a breed board instead.

Honoring responsible breeding, encourage the growth of purebred dogs and support a non profit club. Email or DM us with any questions.

We look forward to filling the walls of the pavillion with all the breeds 💕 Please share this post to help us fill our walls with beautiful purebred dogs!

Responsible breeders do their breed health testing.

Did you know? Dogs must be 24 months or older for OFA Hip and Elbow certification, and 12 months or older for Cardiac, Patellas, and Thyroid certification. There is no age minimum for eye certification, nor for DNA, since DNA does not change as the dog ages.

The OFA also does Preliminary evaluations on hips and elbows before 24 months of age. However, they will need to be re-evaluated again for a final certification once the dog reaches 24 months.

The SJKC is so happy to present our Meet The Breed Boards, to be displayed in the main pavillion during our 2027 show. You may have seen the first three boards tested out at our 2026 show, and we had amazing feedback!

This is a great way to help educate spectators, encourage breed conversation and generally showcase your favorite breed! Being that most shows cannot house or provide all the breeds for a real life Meet the Breed event, your breed club can sponsor a breed board instead. Highlight key points from the standard, show pictures of different events and home life, and even point people to your breed club with a handy QR code!
