Bryan Bilse, Lodi Community Action Team Director, presented a check to Lori Harrenstein, a member of the Lodi Blessings In A Backpack. 🤍🎒 LCAT was awarded grant funds to support students who experience food insecurities over the summer. 🥪🍇

Thank you to Lodi Community Action Team for your support of our students and our program!

LCAT was presented with a certificate of appreciation for its support of Blessings in a Backpack - Lodi, WI.

LCAT secured a grant from the State DPI Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) program to feed hungry kids in Lodi through the Blessings in a Backpack - Lodi, WI program.

More than 60 Lodi kids were fed every school weekend! Thank you to all the volunteers for your very important work!

We can't expect students to learn and grow when their minds are focused on food. Just because we don't see hunger doesn't mean it's not there. It doesn't take the weekend off.

Some of us might take the weekends off, but hunger does not. Thankfully, every Friday during the school year, thousands of kids will be sent home with bags of food to eat over the weekend 🎒❤️
